Mockingjay

I just thought I should get out some thoughts about Peeta before I start reading my next book.
When Peeta gets rescued and comes back to 13 I started to have some mixed feelings about him. I had always liked Gale, but honestly he kept dropping hints that Katniss would be guilty if she was with him. Peeta now on the other hand got me to change me opinion about him yet again. His story with Katniss was always more tragic and everyone knows a Romeo-Juilet love story is more interesting. I guess in the end I accept Katniss's choice. They both deserve each other considering they both have problems in the head brought upon by the hunger games, but maybe that is what holds them together. Katniss and her children will never have the torment of another hunger games. Even though in the end of the book I'm still not sure if they are going to hold a Capital games because it was Coin's plan and she's not even there anymore. Katniss never mentions it in the end so I guess we are left to assume there never was one. I also think her vote for them was very out of character anyway, but not for Haymich. If you like to think on the characters actions just remember things don't always go according to plan. Happy reading and may the odds be ever in your favor!
